As I turned off the Kuhio Hwy yesterday and drove through the Tunnel of Trees I started to reflect on what a special place the south side of Kauai is.
I was driving through the Tunnel of Tress on my way to an inspection of a oceanfront condo I listed for sale for the Owner and where I also represent the Buyer. The market on Kauai right now is very hot! Here's a snapshot of the oceanfront real estate market in the Poipu/Koloa area.
There are currently 15 oceanfront homes and condos for sale in Poipu.
Four of those are single family homes range in price from $1.865M to $6.990M. They also range in both quality of built and current condition of property. Two of then have TVRs or a Vacation Rental License. They have been on the market between 2 - 925 days!
There are 11 oceanfront condos for sale in Poipu ranging in price from $595K - $1.1M. The lowest priced ones are on landleases and the higher priced ones generally are either larger, have a better view, or a better location.
I also have three off market oceanfront properties for sale in the Poipu and Koloa area. One is a single family home with an Ohana, pool, and hot tub. The other two are condos which are both successful vacation rentals!
